Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 August 2026

This privacy policy explains what happens to personal data when you visit this website. We have kept it short, because this website does little with your data.

Who is responsible

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

Fox Coffey KG
Frauengasse 21/13, 1170 Vienna, Austria

Email: office@foxcof.co.at
Phone: +43 1 892 71 04-0

What we collect, and what we do not

This is an informational website. We do not run a shop, we do not offer user accounts, and we do not ask you to register. For an ordinary visit, we do not ask you for any personal data.

When you contact us. The contact links on this site open your own email program with our address already filled in. When you write to us, we receive what you choose to put in your message: your name, your email address, and whatever you tell us. We use that only to answer you and to handle any work that follows, on the basis of your request and our resulting business relationship (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep this correspondence for as long as the working relationship and Austrian record-keeping rules require, and no longer.

Server log files. As with almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records technical information each time a page is requested: the requesting IP address, the date and time, the page accessed, and similar technical data. This is done for security and to keep the site running, on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These logs are kept only briefly and then deleted.

Hosting

This website is hosted by our hosting provider on servers within the EU. The provider processes only the server log data described above, on our behalf and under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). [Name the host and its seat once the live environment is fixed, e.g. Hostinger. On a sandbox domain this is not yet the production host.]

Cookies

This website uses only the technically necessary cookies required to display its pages. It does not use analytics, tracking, or advertising cookies, it does not use Google Analytics, and it does not profile visitors. Because only strictly necessary cookies are used, no consent banner is required.

The blog

Comments on the blog are switched off, so no comment data is collected.

Embedded content

This site does not embed third-party media such as videos, maps, or social-media timelines, so simply viewing our pages passes no data to such third parties.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to have its processing restricted, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, write to us at the address above.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian supervisory authority:

Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna, dsb@dsb.gv.at, www.dsb.gv.at

Changes

We may update this policy if the website or the law changes. The current version always lives on this page.
